With two adaptive waistband options, you can choose the finish that suits you best. The elastic side waistband gives you the look of a flat-front trouser with hidden comfort, while the tie-side waistband lets you adjust the fit throughout the day. No more waiting for a "less bloated day" to wear your favourite handmade clothes.

If you've never sewn trousers before, don't worry. Tullie has been designed with confidence in mind. Alongside the fully illustrated instruction booklet and step-by-step video sew-along, you'll also find a beginner-friendly fitting guide covering some of the most common trouser adjustments. It's there to help you understand where to start if your toile needs a few tweaks, making your first pair of trousers feel far less intimidating.

Fabric & Supplies

Fabric:

  • Main Fabric - all versions: light to medium weight woven fabric such as viscose, silk, crepe, linen, tencel, cotton lawn, cupro, chambray, twill.
    NOTE: denim (maximum 340GSM or 10oz) and knitted fabric with 2-way stretch and good recovery (e.g. sweatshirt jersey, french terry and other medium weight jerseys) can be used for the elastic waist version only.

Supplies: 

  • Lightweight fusible (iron-on) interfacing: maximum amount 21cm (8.25”) x 42cm (16.75”)
  • Sewing machine and basic tools including 4x safety pins and matching thread
  • Machine needles suitable for denim or jersey if that is your fabric choice
  • Optional elastic for the elastic waistband and elastic cuffs version: woven 4cm (1.5”) wide
Finished Garment Measurements

This is the size the garment will be once you’ve sewn it together. Cinnamon Daisy sewing patterns are drafted based on a 165cm (5’5”) person.

Fabric Requirements

Fabric quantities have been calculated based on the panelled versions with pockets; if you’re making a plain leg version or without pockets then this will use a little less fabric.

As soon as you place your order, you’ll receive an email with download links for your digital sewing pattern files. You can also find them anytime in your Cinnamon Daisy account if you’ve created one.

How long will my printed sewing pattern take to arrive?

Orders are usually despatched within 2 working days. UK orders are sent via Royal Mail on a tracked 48 service. International delivery times vary depending on location.

Do you offer support if I get stuck?

Yes! You’re never left to figure things out alone. You can reach out to me directly, and I’ll help you work through things.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges on digital sewing patterns?

Because PDF sewing patterns are instantly delivered, I can’t offer refunds on digital files. But if you’ve made an accidental duplicate purchase, have trouble downloading or have a problem with the file please contact me. I want you to be happy with your purchase and I’ll always do my best to help.
