Bias binding is used to finish the neckline and armholes (if opting for the sleeveless version). Recommended Fabrics: This pattern is ideal for light to medium weight, non-stretch woven fabric such as viscose, linen, shirting, cotton lawn, jacquard, velvet, gingham, tencel etc. Structured fabric like cotton lawn will have more dramatic volume on the puff sleeve and fluid fabrics like viscose will have more drape for the flute sleeve.
Notions: Thread, 0.6cm (¼”) wide elastic for the hem of the puff sleeve and 3cm (1.2") wide bias binding.
